Head of Business Development

We are looking for an experienced, high-performing Head of Business Development. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.

Head of Business Development responsibilities include developing key growth sales strategies, tactics, and action plans. Successful execution of these strategies is required to achieve your financial targets. Head of Business Development duties will include hitting annual targets, building relationships, and understanding customer trends.

This role will leverage relationship development and account management skill, process creation and management ability in order to educate, introduce, and inspire new investment into the world of cryptocurrency from crypto applications and businesses from a global market.

Head of Business Development responsibilities are:

  • Exceeding annual sales targets
  • Acquiring and developing trusting relationships with a portfolio of major clients
  • Expanding the relationships with existing customers by sustained communication and understanding of their needs
  • Managing and automating customer interactions using Hubspot CRM
  • Analysing and improving the on-boarding process to reduce the sales cycle
  • Creating reports on sales performance
  • Understanding category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Analysis of customer behaviour, finding hidden needs, writing key customer analysis reports, and communicating with various departments to provide optimal key customer service solutions
  • Overseeing the transak.com website and automation systems, and evaluating website traffic and other data to better understand customer engagement and conversion rates.
  • Produce valuable content for the company’s online presence, editorial design and organize the company’s publications.

Head of Business Development requirements are:

  • Previous position as a sales executive, sales manager, or marketing director
  • Knowledge of blockchain industry
  • Knowledge of Hubspot CRM or similar
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proven ability to maximise sales
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • Great listening, negotiation, organisational and presentation skills
