UI Designer

Who is UMA?

We are a team, driven by a shared belief that financial markets should be universally accessible. Our goal is to enable anyone to attain or transfer any form of financial risk, thus empowering everyone to participate in a universally accessible financial system. We make building products in the DeFi world easy so that anyone is empowered to build and use the financial products they want. Our team is relatively small but incredibly mighty, and strives to be an engaging leader in the DeFi community.

Where do you fit in?

We’re looking for a UI Designer to join our team. You will have the opportunity to translate the UMA brand into digital and social assets, motion, creative content, and an engaging opportunity for community involvement.

Responsibilities:

• Focus on visual interface (UI) for web/apps
• Some motion skills
• Creating and maintaining website/app Style Guide
• Creating icons, illustrations and graphs
• Supporting the SuperUMAn community
• You will work closely with the lead designer, the community and FrontEnd

Skills & Qualifications:

• 3 years working as a UI/UX designer
• A good designer that is able to make deliberate design decisions and translate any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.
• Experience working with Figma (and/or Sketch) including prototyping
• English speaking (not necessarily as native language)
• Understanding of User Behavior
• Have been part of previous web/app launches
• Team oriented
• Motion/Animation skills
• Some blockchain/crypto/NFT experience (or at least interest)
• Previous work with financial products
• Maintaining a brand + creating (sometimes new) assets to a brand

Our tech stack: Solidity, Javascript, Typescript, Node.js, web3, ethers, hardhat, React
