The Role

The Rift protocol brings together investors and DAOs together to help them achieve one another’s respective goals. Because of this, it is important that the Rift protocol is constantly expanding through partnerships with new DAOs. The Head of Partnerships will be responsible for scaling out the onboarding of DAOs into the Rift ecosystem.

A person with B2B sales or partnership experience would thrive in this position. The Rift protocol has a DAO2DAO business model, making this a very unique role suited well for somebody who is looking to join a company at the forefront of Web3. If you’re looking to get into the core of crypto innovation today and establish relationships across the entire ecosystem this is the role for you.


  • Create a lead generation strategy to feed our pipeline of DAO partnerships, expanding the reach of the Rift protocol.
  • Manage relationships across the Web3 ecosystem, it is essential that we develop long term relationships. The Rift protocol will evolve over time, we need all relationships to be maintained so that we can consistently expand our product offering DAOs that we already work with to further benefit their needs.
  • Design a “sales” process to efficiently move DAOs from the top of our funnel into closed deals that result in deployed capital.
  • Constantly iterate to improve the onboarding process. This will entail drafting new materials, editing existing ones, and A/B testing sales tactics. For this role we need somebody who enjoys constantly improving the nature and efficacy of their work.
  • Eventually partnership responsibilities will scale into an entire team — we expect you to have the leadership capacity to manage individuals and scale your work to run a highly effective team.


  • Demonstrated history of bootstrapping a sales pipeline at an early B2B startup.
  • Strong familiarity with DeFi technologies of today — this role will be strongly outward facing so it is essential we have somebody well versed meeting our potential partners.
  • Experience scaling a sales pipeline into multiple team members, closing deals of substantial size.
  • Deep excitement about the promise of Web3 technologies.
  • Ambition — we are a team of extremely motivated, hard working individuals and we are looking for any new team member to match our drive.
