OnJuno is looking for a Head of Partnerships & Business Development to help us in building our partnerships & business development teams. The role will be pivotal in building a best-in-class business development function at a fast-paced fintech startup. The ideal candidate would be a leader who is well versed with sales, business development & partnerships and has a background or understanding of fintech, DeFi & crypto.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing and managing all business development, partnership communication & workflows in the US.
  • Expansion by securing and onboarding new partners in the crypto ecosystem including wallets, dapps, exchanges etc.
  • Lead the Partnerships team in the prospecting and onboarding of new employers for our crypto payroll solution.
  • Participate & lead all strategic fintech/crypto meetings.
  • Actively manage the resulting pipeline to help expedite conversion at every stage of the funnel and forecast appropriately.
  • Partner with marketing to define, design & execute marketing campaigns persistently and consistently.
  • In coordination with product marketing, continually assess the competitive landscape and analyze in order to identify the tools & assets required to counter.
  • Recruit, develop and lead a Partnerships team

Requirements:

  • 4+ years working in a sales, business development or partnership capacity.
  • Leadership experience, directly managing account managers.
  • Exceptional storyteller, both written and verbal.
  • Data-driven in decision-making and setting goals for the team.
  • Proven record of strategic intuition when assessing opportunities, establishing deal terms & negotiating.
  • Ability to develop rapport and establish trust
  • Entrepreneurial and a hands-on style with a strong bias towards action while working effectively in an innovative environment that values collaboration without ego.
  • Operates at a high level of intensity, acting with a sense of urgency without sacrificing excellence.
  • Comfortable working in a high-performance environment with a substantial degree of autonomy.
  • Ability to manage special projects and corporate initiatives and improve processes
