About DIA

DIA (Decentralised Information Asset) is an open-source, financial information platform that utilises crypto economic incentives to source and validate data. Market actors can supply, share and use financial and digital asset data.

As a Swiss-based non-profit association, it is DIA’s mission to democratise financial data, similar to what Wikipedia has done in the broader information space with regard to central encyclopaedias. DIA data sources and methodologies are transparent and publicly accessible to everyone. DIA uses crypto-economic incentives for its stakeholders to validate data sources when being added and throughout their usage.

People & Talent at DIA

At DIA, our mission is to grow decentralisation across a majority of governance and operational aspects, providing unprecedented transparency and community feedback in the financial industry. We are looking for a Head of People & Talent who is well versed in organisational design and excited about decentralisation. Reporting to the founders will build, grow and lead a high-performance team to a Decentralised Autonomous Organisation (DAO).

This unique remote opportunity, will suit an individual who thinks outside the traditional HR / Org Dev box and exhibits a curiosity and interest in learning about decentralisation, for both organisational and people structures. You’ll provide tactical and strategic human resources leadership to the team and be responsible for core people structures and programs.

In this role you will

  • Design decentralised systems, processes and policies that scale effectively with DIA’s growing business
  • Serve as an executive strategic partner and provide HR support on all aspects of the people function; recruiting, onboarding, performance & compensation, professional development, compliance
  • Partner with the community, executives, crypto engineering, product and business teams on all aspects of the hiring and development toward decentralisation
  • Create an innovative people strategy to find, engage, and hire top crypto talent anywhere in the world
  • Be an advocate for employees and make DIA a leading place to work
  • Keep informed and up-to-date on HR best practices and employment laws across multiple international jurisdictions
  • Develop, grow and lead a remote and decentralized team for hiring; including structured feedback processes
  • Advocate our passion for D&I initiatives and continue to grow our company as an inclusive workplace
  • Provide pragmatic paths for decentralisation that also provide long-term people stability and its legal representatives and investors
  • Analyze and report on progress consistently; continually adjust strategy as needed while making decisions informed by data.

You will have

  • 6+ years of progressive experience in senior human resources and/or organisational design
  • 4+ years of leadership & people management experience
  • Experience recruiting for and/or leading teams that hire highly specialized technical talent (ideally with some crypto / blockchain or executive hiring focus, though this isn’t a requirement)
  • Deep interest in Blockchain and DeFi (relevant for the role)
  • Sensitivity and discretion when handling confidential situations and data
  • Proven track record of building high-performing, inclusive and diverse teams and working closely with leadership
  • Knowledge across the entire candidate lifecycle, from talent mapping, research, sourcing, interviewing, to closing
  • Demonstrated prowess in creating innovative and unique ways to proactively find and engage pipelines of niche talent, globally
  • Ability to think strategically and proactively, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Strong analytical skills; comfortable with translating metrics and data into strategy.
