About the Role

Our Solutions team is growing to keep up with demands from prospects and partnerships. The team is looking for an exceptional Business Development Representative to join our highly-skilled and passionate team. The ideal candidate will drive sales and partnerships, coordinate across teams to onboard users, and work with the rest of the Solutions team to constantly refine our processes.

What you’ll be doing

  • Leverage established relationships; develop new relationships with Dapps and other strategic partners that grow Pocket Network.
  • Build relationships with executives, founders, and other decision-makers of protocols/Dapps, and other technology companies leveraging blockchain technology.
  • Generate partnerships with protocols, exchanges, custodians, wallets, and other crypto-native institutions.
  • Create a sales funnel for each network we support
  • Develop leads based on existing relationships
  • Generate cold leads for potential unknown customers.
  • Track leads and ensure deals are being followed through on by each different department.
  • Map individual tasks to company-wide OKRs
  • Provide demos of the Pocket Network platform and address customer questions effectively.
  • Demystify our product for potential customers.
  • Be the first touchpoint and ongoing relationship manager for clients.
  • Be creative and determined to close deals
  • Work with the product team to identify and prioritize customer feedback and inform product roadmap.
  • Work with the marketing team to incorporate feedback into new messaging and marketing materials
  • Ensure transparency in the sales process for the entire organization.
  • Plan, create deliverables and present at org-wide Business Development updates
  • Lead onboarding and support of your prospects during the closing process

Requirements

  • A focus on problem-solving, not selling a product or service.
  • 3-5+ years experience in B2B SaaS/infrastructure sales, blockchain/crypto growth/business development, in a startup or crypto VC.
  • Understands Pocket Network’s product offering in the blockchain infrastructure space.
  • Fluency and working knowledge of the crypto/blockchain industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of working with internal stakeholders in different functional groups (e.g. Marketing, Product, Governance, Legal, etc.)
  • Ability to act independently and proactively in an effort to source, progress, close new business.
  • Demonstrated experience with problem-solving and working with limited oversight in a remote environment.
  • Excel and PowerPoint experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex ideas succinctly to key decision-makers.
  • Bought into the uncompromised decentralization, and the responsibilities that come with that vision.

Preferred

  • High energy and a team-player mentality.
  • Crypto and/or startup background
  • Strong preference for candidates with established connections in the Ethereum ecosystem or other compelling crypto ecosystems
  • Established relationships in Asia-Pacific region
