Business Development (BD) Lead

By leveraging a hybrid infrastructure including Trusted Execution Environments (TEEs), blockchain, Multi-Party Computation (MPC), and Zero-Knowledge Proof (ZKP), Phala delivers flexible, open-source, and affordable verification solutions for any developer, in any type of program.

KPIs

• New Partnerships: Close 5-10 strategic partners in 6 months and bring at least 500k contract deals.
• Revenue Impact: Drive at least 20% of new vCPUs / GPUs from partnerships.
• Lead Pipeline Growth: Add 30+ qualified leads per month.
• Enterprise Adoption: Convert at least 10 enterprise deals in the first year.

Expectations

• Identify Web3 AI, ZK, and confidential computing projects needing TEE solutions.
• Build direct BD relationships with crypto-native teams, investors, and infra players.
• Work closely with marketing & account managers to turn partnerships into revenue.
• Experiment with different partnership models (resellers, co-marketing, integrations).

Hiring Requirements

• Prior Experience: 3-7 years in BD, sales, or partnerships in Web3, AI, or Cloud.
• Skills: Strong deal-closing, networking, and industry knowledge.
• Bonus: Prior connections in crypto-native cloud, AI, or Web3 infrastructure.

Compensation:

• Base: $80-120K
• Commission: 5-10% of revenue from deals you close
