Business Development Associate

The Nervos Network is an open-source public blockchain ecosystem and collection of protocols creating the foundation for a universal internet-like public network. Nervos is making blockchain application universal, offering unparalleled user reach and uptake.

As the Business Development Associate, you will be focused on helping to build and expand a pipeline of both blockchain and non-blockchain partners that will benefit from working with Nervos. Working closely with the Director of Business Development, you will be responsible for identifying emerging use-cases and performing outreach to increase Nervos’ adoption.

The role is ideal for someone that has a genuine interest in blockchain technology and wants to build a career in business development within the space.

Responsibilities:

• Research and prioritize the use-cases and non-crypto market segments that would most benefit Nervos
• Source, due-diligence and work with the team to execute high-value strategic partnerships with start-ups that are considering developing on Nervos’ technology and other types of companies that could bring value to the ecosystem
• Identify and approach prospective partners while effectively communicating Nervos’ value proposition.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Understanding of blockchain technologies
• 1+ year experience in business development or partnerships in a technology/blockchain company
• Comfortable in a startup, rapid-growth environment
• Must be able to work independently and take charge of your own tasks
• Track record of developing, negotiating and closing partnership deals
