Why metaENGINE

Crypto games experienced massive growth of late. Market leader Axie Infinity proved to be one of 2021’s best investments across all asset classes, and this trend of crypto gaming is showing no signs of slowing in 2022. This incredible rise can be primarily attributed to the emerging field of play-to-earn, or P2E.

P2E is built on the idea that the time and energy players spend in multiplayer games should be rewarded. As the players themselves are the ones that generate the invaluable social and competitive dimensions within any online game, P2E gamer’s pose they should not only be rewarded monetarily, but also be given a voice in steering the direction of these games into the future.

Nevertheless creating a game is hard, and if you’re a game developer or a gamer you’ll likely have a solid understanding of the level of dedication and commitment required to complete one. Creating an awesome game is a labor of love that can take many years, and when an alpha version is finally released to the public, this typically marks only the beginning of a long journey of bug fixes, updates and expansions. When blockchain, cryptocurrency and NFTs are thrown into the equation, the painstaking nature of game creation only multiplies.

To streamline the integration of crypto into crypto games, we’ve created metaENGINE.

metaENGINE offers developers a fully integrated set of all necessary technologies from the only massive multiplayer online (MMO) game engine, core blockchain functionality and decentralized data storage to a decentralized publishing platform, so that developers can focus on content development only.

The Role

metaENGINE brings all the tools a game developer needs to make and publish a multiplayer game with GameFi features. The more content published, the more diversity and the better quality of games, the more traditional gamers will join. The Head of Partnerships will be responsible for identifying and onboarding the future games and metaverse experiences built on metaENGINE.

A Gamer with B2B sales or partnership experience is our ideal candidate. At the forefront of GameFi and Metaverse creation tools, metaENGINE is building an ecosystem of Web3 projects and games and needs an individual dedicated to bringing decentralization and quality content to more than 2.4 billion gamers. If you’re passionate about gaming and looking to establish relationships across the entire ecosystem, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Create a lead generation strategy to feed our pipeline of GameFi and Metaverses partnerships, expanding the reach of metaENGINE.
• Manage relationships across the GameFi ecosystem, and develop long term relationships.
• Design a “sales” process to efficiently move GameFi projects from the top of our funnel into closed deals that result in games under development.
• Constantly iterate to improve the onboarding process. For this role we need somebody who enjoys constantly improving the nature and efficacy of their work.
• Eventually partnership responsibilities will scale into an entire team — we expect you to have the leadership capacity to manage individuals and scale your work to run a highly effective team.

Skills we are looking for

• Demonstrated history of creating and managing a sales pipeline.
• Strong familiarity with GameFi projects and principles technologies of today — this role will be strongly outward facing so it is essential we have somebody well versed meeting our potential partners.
• Experience scaling a sales pipeline into multiple team members, closing deals of substantial size.
• Deep excitement about the promise of Web3 technologies.
• Ambition — we are a team of extremely motivated, hard working individuals and we are looking for any new team member to match our drive.
• Experience in traditional game development is a plus.
