Role

Maple is at the beginning of a great journey and rapidly growing. We are seeking an Institutional SDR to help grow the business. Reporting to the Head of Capital Markets, you will be expected to be a connected business development representative that is driven by customer success. You will help develop and foster relationships with prospective institutional clients, while proactively cultivating relationships with existing ones. You’ll be joining an exceptional team on this exciting journey to transform capital markets.

Responsibilities

  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound leads and outbound cold calls and emails, while updating Maple’s Sale’s team CRM + Operational Database
  • Keep up to date with market activities and keep in touch with clients, checking-in to make sure all needs are met
  • Aggressively market, service, and promote Maple Finance capital markets infrastructure to institutions, funds, HNWs and other protocols.
  • Maintain and create well organized, up-to-date and accurate sales information and activity reports
  • Deliver a best-in-class client onboarding experience; while monitoring issues, and identifying trends from customer feedback
  • Collaborate across marketing, product, operations, and technology teams to continuously improve the customer experience

Requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in Blockchain and/or cryptocurrencies
  • 1-2 years experience in credit or financial markets
  • Previous experience in a client/customer facing role
  • Strong communications with excellent writing and verbal communication skills
  • Entrepreneurial, tenacious and competitive work ethic

Really nice if you have it

  • Outbound sales experience
  • Ability to qualify prospects
  • Experience with LinkedIn and email marketing campaigns
  • Knowledgeable on the key funds and institutional participants in the crypto and DeFi space.

This is a truly outstanding opportunity for someone in the “earlier” stages of their commercial focused career. You’ll be working directly with our Head of Capital Markets, a seasoned TradFi and Crypto Institutional Sales expert. You’ll be included in discussions with the industries Senior Leaders and C Suite. Build and enhance your personal networks in the fast growing DeFi space. This is only the 2nd hire into our sales team. We have a bold target of reaching $2Billion in liquidity locked.
