Senior Business Development Manager - North America/Europe

StableLab is tasked as MakerDAO’s Business Development team.

MakerDAO is a decentralized organization dedicated to bringing stability to the cryptocurrency economy, creating stable, decentralized currency Dai.

At MakerDAO’s Business Development team, we are looking for a senior Business Development Manager located in North America or Europe, a team player with strong self-motivation who can grow the MakerDAO ecosystem by exploring and strengthening relationships with various DAOs, ecosystems, and institutions.

Responsibilities:

• Give support and education to drive DAI and Maker Vaults adoption and integrations.
• Generate expansion and adoption of DAI and Maker Vaults.
• Support expansion and adoption of Spark protocol and sDAI.
• Prepare for adoption and/or migration of DAI and MKR on exchanges, wallets, dApps, mainnets, L2s, and gaming platforms.
• Prepare for SubDAO farming for exchanges, wallets, dApps, mainnets, L2s, and gaming platforms.
• Engage and educate institutions about DeFi and MakerDAO protocol.
• Research and development in potential collaboration in the Europe and US ecosystem.
• Develop an integration strategy and track integration progress and outcomes using CRM.
• Be responsible for providing updated regulatory updates in the Europe or US region.
• Attending certain crypto conferences when instructed such as Token2049 and Devcon.

Requirements:

• 3+ years working with BD in a senior position.
• 4+ years working in web3, in DeFi is a big +.
• Based in North America or Europe.
• Strong English written and speaking skills.
• A deep understanding of the DeFi ecosystem.
• You enjoy building relationships across the ecosystem.
• You have a structural perspective and an eye for detail with an emphasis on documentation and execution.
• You are flexible around work hours and can handle the freedom that remote work provides you.
• Ability to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced environment.
• An existing network of Web3 companies specifically, dapps, wallets, DeFi protocols, and exchanges.
