The role
We are looking for a BD & Integrations Lead to help us with growing the business side of the Interlay Network. You will take lead over our growth and integration efforts, working with and reporting directly to the CEO. Your role will be multifaceted and you will work to develop relations and close deals with DeFi protocols and blockchains, professional validators and custodians, as well as wallets and exchanges.
Job requirements
What you will do
- Identify and strike partnerships with potential Vault operators, i.e., professional custodians, validators and BTC mining pools
- Recruit liquidity providers and market makers
- Set up strategic partnerships with exchanges and financial service providers, coordinating with our legal teams where necessary
- Develop relations with DeFi protocols and wallet providers, and coordinate / negotiate integrations of our main product interBTC and/or deployment of (joint) Dapps on Interlay’s EVM
- Coordinate the non-technical side of the integration process, communicating with engineering teams around timelines and feasibility
- As we scale, build up a team to manage both institutional and DeFi / blockchain ecosystem relations
What you bring
- 5+ years in a sales role
- Good understanding of blockchain technologies
- Excellent understanding of blockchain ecosystems
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written English communication skills, including the ability to speak to different constituencies such as business development, communications, and engineering
- Ability to work autonomously, be proactive, prioritize, communicate, and function in a small team
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance and handle uncertainty and ambiguity
“Nice to have”
- Additional languages, such as Russian or Mandarin are a plus
- Previous experience in financial services, fintech, investments, or crypto exchanges is an asset
