We’re looking for our first Technical Account Manager (TAM) to bridge the gap between Sales, Customer Success, and Product. As our founding TAM, you’ll have full autonomy to define our playbook, establish processes, and grow alongside our company. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives at the intersection of technology and customer success, translating technical complexity into clear, actionable insights that drive adoption and expansion.
What You’ll Do
- Own the success of our key accounts - from day-to-day relationship management to long-term strategic planning and everything in between.
- Build our account management function from scratch - create our processes, set the bar for excellence, and lay the foundation for future team members.
- Work closely with Sales to drive adoption, expansion, and retention by demonstrating the full capabilities of Goldsky and aligning them to the needs of our customers.
- Influence our product roadmap by deeply understanding customer needs, gathering actionable insights, and advocate for the features that move the needle.
- Create and run strategic programs to drive improvements across Customer Success, Sales, and Product. You’ll have the freedom to experiment and implement what works.
Who You Are
- A builder who loves creating order from chaos - you’ve spent 3+ years in B2B SaaS account management and get energized by blank canvases
- A strategic thinker who sees around corners - you can anticipate customer needs and proactively solve problems before they arise
- A customer-centric mindset, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A data-driven operator who’s created and optimized account management processes that scale
- Someone who takes pride in owning outcomes - when you see a problem, you fix it; when you spot an opportunity, you seize it
Bonus Points
- You were the first or early AM hire at a developer tools startup and shaped the function
- You’ve maintained 100%+ net retention through high-touch strategic account management
- You have a technical degree or equivalent experience, particularly in crypto data infrastructure
- You have a track record of implementing and optimizing customer success tools that drive efficiency and scale
