The Role
Blockswap is looking for a crypto-savvy Go-to-Market Manager leading our BD & Protocol Integrations efforts. You will drive Blockswap products partnerships and work with the rest of the team, refining our outreach and onboarding new partners, drive integrations, establish commercial and promotional partnerships with the DeFi community while maintaining existing relationships.
As an open-source, permissionless protocol, we believe that enabling trustless access to blockchain benefits everyday users is critical to shape the future of DeFi, to facilitate greater adoption in global digital economies and communities. Our mission is to coordinate open access to the PoS network native staking yield by empowering anyone to earn fixed-rate yield.
Note this is a full-time, remote-only role and must be in North America / Europe between PT and UK time zones.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and execute a strategic plan for raising and retaining assets across Blockswap’s products
- Drive “special projects” that drive operational excellence and spearheading new initiatives that will help protocol growth.
- Head L1/L2 for partnerships and execute protocol launch strategy.
- Assisting new Blockswap ecosystem projects with innovative Go-To-Market initiatives
- Be a Blockswap brand advocate, working collaboratively with Marketing, Communications, Research and Compliance teams on messaging and product positioning
- Coordinate and work with product, marketing, content, and comms teams to organize industry events and other partnerships events, forums, write, and drive community engagement.
- Serve as an intermediary between Blockswap and protocols in the following areas.
- Integration feedback
- Channel partner feedback back to the product team
- L1/L2 chains Ecosystem concerns
- Build and maintain a strong network of business partners externally to consult on issues and opportunities on PoS chains ecosystem to drive collaborative solutions
Requirements:
- You should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in DeFi is a must.
- 2+ years of marketing experience in the asset management/alternative investments industry, with an emphasis on digital assets
- Successful commercial execution at scale and communications to both high-end retail/institutional constituencies
- You have a solid and vibrant network in the crypto community and passion for and are deeply knowledgeable about crypto and what’s happening in DeFi and decentralization.
- You have experience developing programs to build and grow relationships with business and technical leaders in crypto.
- You have excellent product and commercial instincts that will help inform our roadmap of products and programs.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to flex between leading senior-level conversations and daily block-and-tackle with excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated, with an ability to work both independently and on a face-paced team
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree

- Deep understanding of how BD works in the crypto space
- Ability to work independently as an async team with a “roll up the sleeves” attitude that demonstrates a bias towards deliverables
- A demonstrated passion for blockchain technology, digital assets, and token economics
- Intellectual curiosity and a passion for creative problem-solving with incomplete data
- Experienced with working in remote teams and an existing network in crypto/DeFi is a big plus
