Your Impact

• Develop relationships with stakeholders and projects in the ecosystem
• Work with key influencers and communities, setting up AMAs, co-promotions, media coverage, etc
• Research and identify new business and partnership opportunities
• Educate the market on Alpaca Finance’s products
• Grow Alpaca’s presence to the broader market
• Execute BD pipeline and coordinate with the Head of BD on business requirements
• Contribute during the BD team’s discussion on roadmap, processes and strategy

Requirements

• Must have knowledge of the crypto industry. Must be familiar with different protocols and projects and be able to explain how they work, not just surface knowledge
• 1+ year of experience in a Sales/BD role at a crypto project (preferred); OR 5+ years of experience in Sales/BD or a related role
• Strong sales and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) and common technology tools
• Fluent oral and written communication skills in English(ideally English as a first language)
• Prior experience working in a remote-first environment; and able to work independently whilst occasionally collaborating with a team
• Strong task management skills; ability to manage a task list, prioritize, and follow through
• Organized, proactive and resourceful
• An existing network in crypto/DeFi is a big plus
• Self-motivated; entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership, and determination to get things done
• Comfortable communicating with multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Driven; We want people who are passionate about the blockchain industry, and are eager to up-skill and hone their knowledge in the crypto space
