We are currently seeking a Cryptocurrency Risk Arbitrage Trader to assist with development and execution as strategies are scaled within the risk parameters set for the business. The successful candidate will have a diverse skill set with the ability to quickly learn our systems and strategies.

Essential Job Functions:

• Continuously assess and evaluate market opportunities to improve performance
• Operationalize and standardize new and existing policies, processes and procedures related to the Trade Desk
• Work with the leadership team to design and implement strategies and achieve key business and operational goals
• Be a strong partner to Product, Distribution and Marketing teams to help expand various distribution channels, to deepen penetration within existing channels, and to propose appropriate solutions that leverage the Team’s resources and strengths to meet clients’ investment needs
• Facilitate onboarding, management and communication with external business partners
• Manage all relevant documentation and communication between external business partners and internal stakeholders
• Act as a liaison between internal and external business stakeholders when surfacing issues of common concern
• Continuously add value through effective process management, prioritization and efficient execution

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Proven track record and knowledge of the mechanics and parameters of dealing in Risk Arbitrage trading from a cash & carry strategy background
• Understanding of trade flow from origination to settlement – covering direct routing to various exchanges
• Knowledge of the regulatory framework and Cryptocurrency products
• Strong and proven passion for Cryptocurrency and Blockchain technologies
• Proven algorithmic trading experience, including strategy design, development and implementation
• A passion for investing and an aptitude for substantial financial analysis are essential
• Ability to analyze, manage and monitor all portfolio weightings and market exposures
• Remain current on market news as it pertains to current portfolio positions and potential investment ideas
• Effective communicator who contributes to discussions regarding market conditions and risk management
• Demonstrated experience in various market conditions across multiple traditional products as well as cryptocurrencies
• Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple, complex issues simultaneously and prioritize in demanding situations
• Detail-oriented, focused individual who can work with minimal supervision
• Keen awareness of risk exposures, performance drivers, and market environments
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment
• Thorough understanding of key performance metrics and the market environment to make informed, data-driven decisions
• A team-focused attitude that leads to successful collaboration with the sales, engineering, and product groups
• Excellent communication skills with a regulatory-awareness attitude

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics or Computer Science
• Minimum 3-5 years prior trading experience
• Expertise and experience with derivative instruments including options and futures
• Proven competencies in data analytics
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial analysis software tools
