What We Are Hiring For

We’re looking to expand our data collection and monitoring capabilities by hiring a VP of Data Sourcing and Strategy.

You have a strong interest in crypto, data, finance, and trading. In addition, you’re excited to work in a fast-paced start-up environment where there are always new projects and challenges. While day-to-day responsibilities will revolve around data acquisition and monitoring, you will have the opportunity to learn different functional areas of the business working side-by-side with the founders and business partners, and interacting with customers.

Responsibilities

• Source and diligence third party data sets for inclusion in The TIE’s SigDev Terminal
• Collaborate across various business units including product, data science, and development to build engaging and alpha-generating additions to our suite of products
• Ensure that current and future data solutions developed by The TIE are approached in a consistent manner and are structured to the highest standards
• Work with existing clients to identify data requirements and new opportunities in the space
• Rigorously test competitive products and identify data quality issues and needs
• Negotiate complex enterprise-level partnerships
• Develop and maintain a mapping of the cryptocurrency data landscape and distribute it to key stakeholders within the firm
• Manage offshore unstructured data team

What you Need to Have

• 2-10 years of relevant work experience
• A strong understanding of finance, data, and cryptocurrency
• Experience in financial data or a related role is a strong plus
• Experience using APIs and diligencing data sets
