Product Owner

We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to develop the unique exchange platform on Solana network.

This is a very exciting product role.

• You will be responsible for driving the product growth by both devising the strategy and making it happen.
• You will have the big picture in mind while making sure everything is in place by delivering the existing roadmap and updating it down the road.
• You will utilise your best technical skills, business sense and creativity.
• You’ll work alongside talented developers.
• You will keep learning about the dynamic space that crypto is be bursting with ideas without losing focus.

In this role, you will work directly with the GM.

This is a client-facing and internal coordination role, with both opportunities and expectations to contribute immediately. Deep blockchain expertise is a differentiator but not required, though the ability to learn new industries and technologies will be critical for starting to lead engagements and contributing intellectually to all facets of our work.

We are confident we can help the right person learn quickly while relying on them to expand our client engagement capabilities.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop long term product vision and manage mid-term product roadmap.
• Coordinate with internal staff and outsourced agencies.
• Act as the primary day-to-day contact for the blockchain product development.
• Prioritise and communicate requirements to design and engineering.
• Develop and track success metrics.
• Serve as peer review for technical work, such as Excel-based token models and architecture diagrams. Expertise not required, but critical thinking is essential
• Proactively research the market and competitive landscape that informs the roadmap.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with institutional finance users, crypto or DeFi users.
• Knowledge of Solan Ecosystem.
• Independently driven - this role has high expectations for autonomy and responsibility.
• Good knowledge of 3rd party tools for usage analytics, user support, release notes, etc (e.g. Google Analytics, Github, Digital Ocean).
• Experience with data querying languages (e.g. SQL), scripting languages (e.g. Python), data visualization
