Director of Product

About this role

Set’s mission is to accelerate the adoption of an internet financial system. To do so, it developed the leading crypto asset management protocol on Ethereum and has launched the Index Coop, the leading decentralized provider of exchange-traded products and one of the most active communities in DeFi.

We’re looking for a talented and passionate D of Product to realize that mission. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced and collaborative environment, and will be responsible for the creation, planning and implementation of the product vision, strategy and roadmap. This role reports directly to the CEO.

What you’ll achieve:

• Establish and drive the product roadmap, strategy, and vision—you’ll help us become the leading crypto-native prime brokerage.
• Develop a deep understanding of market trends and identify opportunities for future growth—you’ll help us maximize TVL with innovative crypto-native financial products.
• Lead and shape the product organization—you’ll hire, manage and develop a team of talented product managers.
• Evangelize and cross-functionally communicate product vision to drive alignment and execution—our stakeholders span the globe and are a dynamic bunch.

What you bring:

• Professional experience in financial services.
• 5+ years of product management experience with:
• a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle
• a strong track record of shipping products
• Experience hiring and managing product managers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• 3 hour time zone difference of US Pacific Time and comfortable working in a distributed environment.

Even better if you have:

• A passion for DeFi and/or crypto.
• Demonstrable knowledge of blockchain technology
• Helped build the product function at a startup before.
