DeFi Product Manager - Financial Products

Set is building crypto asset management tools and products to democratize wealth creation tools. We believe that decentralized technologies will be a driving force in creating a new global financial system that is more equitable, inclusive, and efficient.

As a key member of the financial product’s team, your mission is to lead the buildout and improvement of DeFi financial products including indices, leverage indices, and other financial primitives. In this role, you’ll be working closely with the protocol engineering team and external stakeholders including the Index Coop to ship these products.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the short-term and long-term product strategy and roadmap, prioritize initiatives, and ensure the timely execution and delivery of products
• Define product requirements for DeFi financial products by gathering user needs and feedback through frequent research and testing and ensuring its feasibility by working with the engineering team
• Build data-driven spreadsheet models to simulate and analyze financial product performance and risk
• Synthesize research, analysis and stakeholder (Set Protocol, Index Coop DAO, Set community) feedback into detailed product requirements
• Develop product and management processes and documentation to educate users, the community, and stakeholders on product changes and features.
• Leading manual testing of products, smart contracts, and Dapps during development

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in product management, working with cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, reliable shipping momentum
• You have deep knowledge of DeFi, crypto communities, and knowledge of traditional finance products. You know what’s happening, what is working and not working
• You solve problems in a data-driven manner and have worked with SQL, spreadsheet models and/or Dune Analytics (even better)
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to discuss and explain technical concepts, solutions and architectures
• You are an effective leader, able to motivate a team and influence external stakeholders
• You are open-minded to new ideas with a mindset of continuous learning
