About Rift Finance

Rift’s mission is to democratize access to financial power tools. Founded by two Harvard graduates, one with a career in quantitative trading and the other who already sold a previous startup to Ripple, the team is combining their backgrounds to build a network that will serve as the liquidity foundation for the global financial system. Rift is backed by Pantera Capital, Two Sigma Ventures, Coinbase Ventures, Hashed and leading crypto founders like Aave’s Stani Kulechov, Terra’s Do Kwon and Polygon’s Sandeep Nailwal.

Despite being in stealth, the Rift protocol controls tens of millions in TVL through a private beta with partner DAOs. At the end of November we will begin our Series A at which point our valuation will be substantially higher than it is right now, we’re looking to onboard team members as soon as possible to get their equity stake denominated at a discounted valuation.

We’re transitioning out of stealth this month after we finished running a private beta with DAO partners. You’ll have strong impact from day 1 on what we bring to our users.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the founders to strategize on product design and go to market.
• Coordinate across engineering, design and growth teams to ensure we’re building in the right direction
• Brainstorm with founders about product strategy, and translate these high level goals into discrete, trackable tasks for our engineering team to accomplish.
• You should consistently stay up to date on the latest product updates and announcements so that we can integrate the newest and best that crypto ecosystem has to offer within our own product suite.

Who you are

• You will be the glue. We are growing rapidly, and we need somebody in the center ensuring that everybody on the team is aligned.
• At minimum, you should be extremely curious about crypto. We definitely prefer demonstrable usage of DeFi and NFT products, but we are extremely early in the crypto adoption curve so we are open minded to bring members onboard who demonstrate a hunger to rapidly learn about and understand the current crypto ecosystem.
• In general we strongly optimize for talent not experience, but for this specific role we need somebody who has years of experience managing a team in a rapidly evolving startup. We move quickly, we need somebody who not only can handle that, but is energized by that.
