Crypto Asset Execution Trader – Jersey – Spot / Derivatives and Liquidity Deployment

Our client is a global alternative investment platform expanding its digital asset execution capabilities in Jersey. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-performing team that blends institutional governance with deep, crypto-native expertise.

The focus is both CEX and on-chain execution, working across spot, derivatives and value-extractive strategies, while supporting the build-out of new digital asset trading infrastructure.

The Opportunity

This role sits at the centre of the firm’s digital execution function. You will execute trades across centralised and decentralised venues, monitor on-chain flows, identify value opportunities, and support the development of new execution and liquidity frameworks.

You will work closely with operations, risk and front-office teams to deliver seamless execution across the full digital asset stack.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute spot and derivatives trades across CEXs
• Deploy liquidity and execute strategies on DEXs
• Monitor on-chain activity and identify value-extractive opportunities
• Research, build and implement crypto trading strategies (CEX + DEX)
• Analyse market microstructure, order flow and sentiment to optimise execution
• Contribute to the build-out of the firm’s on-chain execution and risk framework
• Work with internal teams to ensure end-to-end execution quality
• Identify new market, liquidity and interaction opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with exchanges, OTC desks and liquidity providers

What We Need

Essential

• 5+ years in digital assets
• Hands-on experience trading crypto spot and derivatives
• On-chain execution and liquidity deployment skills
• Strong understanding of on-chain risks and value-extractive strategies
• Python and API experience for data queries and trade execution
• Experience with OMS platforms for digital assets
• Proactive, commercial mindset with strong internal relationship skills
• Experience at an established crypto trading or market-making firm
• Traditional asset execution background
