Investment Analyst

MH Ventures is looking to expand its investment team with a talented and dedicated individual, able to objectively assess projects within the fund’s fast-moving deal flow pipeline. A successful candidate will become a key component in MH Ventures’ deployment process, providing support all across the due diligence process, from sourcing deals, to providing value post-investment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the due diligence process for multiple projects simultaneously.
• Write detailed investment memoranda on key blockchain verticals and projects.
• Participate in investment committee meetings by both pitching and discussing potential investments.
• Source potential projects for MH Ventures by fostering a strong network within the blockchain investment community.
• Nurture relationships with existing portfolio projects by providing value and services post-investment.
• Product research articles on key areas of blockchain investment.
• Represent MH Ventures to external parties, including at IRL events.

Requirements:

• An undergraduate/bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2 years of experience in seed-to-series A stage investment analysis.
• (or) 2-3 years of experience in a role relating directly to blockchain investment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in investment meetings and in due diligence calls with potential projects.
• An understanding of the unique features of cryptocurrency investments (e.g. tokenomics, SAFTs, etc.).
• (preferred) a pre-existing network within the blockchain investment community that can be used to source potential investment opportunities for MH Ventures.

• Will be a proactive self-starter, able to operate effectively and efficiently with little direct supervision.
• Will have a genuine passion for decentralized technology, and a desire to learn more about the sector.
• Will be confident enough to push back against suggestions made by other members of MH Ventures’ investment committee, in order to enhance the fund’s due diligence process.
• Will be comfortable dealing with data (both on-and-off-chain) to drive investment decisions and analysis.
• Will have experience using blockchain technology on a personal level.
• Will have experience at a blockchain-related start-up or early-stage company.
