Who You Are:

  • A Certified Financial Planner (CFP) or equivalent, with a strong grasp of holistic financial planning — from asset allocation and retirement to estate and tax strategy
  • Polished and articulate, with the ability to explain financial concepts in a way that builds trust and drives action
  • Client-obsessed, relationship-driven,and detail-oriented, with a deep desire to serve— but also equipped with the strategic and commercial instincts to sell
  • Tech-savvy and process-driven, able to operate in a fast-paced, digital-first advisory firm (crypto-native, fintech experience is a plus)
  • Have extremely high ownership and take initiative

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Act as Day-to-Day Advisor: Serve as the primary point of contact for active clients — handling financial planning inquiries, portfolio questions, and key service requests
  • Build and Maintain Client Relationships: Enhance client retention by proactively managing touchpoints, check-ins, quarterly reviews, and needs-based outreach to ensure exceptional client satisfaction
  • Deliver Personalized Financial Advice: Provide guidance on budgeting, cash flow, retirement goals, tax optimization, charitable giving, and asset allocation using tools like eMoney
  • Support Strategic Growth Initiatives: Partner with the Director of Sales and CEO to convert inbound interest into long-term client relationships
  • Identify Cross-Sell Opportunities: As client needs evolve, flag opportunities for estate planning, private investments, or enhanced services — and collaborate with internal specialists to execute
  • Onboard New Clients Seamlessly: Lead the transition process post-sale — onboarding new clients, setting expectations, and ensuring a highly personalized service experience
  • Coordinate Internal & External Stakeholders: Interface with custodians (e.g., Schwab), tax advisors, estate attorneys, and internal ops to deliver an integrated client experience
  • **Maintain CRM and Planning Tools:**Keep Wealthbox, eMoney, and Asana updated with key client insights, tasks, and next steps

What We’re Looking For:

Professional Background

  • 5+ years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, or client advisory roles
  • Strong planning foundation — you enjoy working with clients directly and answering the questions that matter to them
  • Experience with both service deliveryand sales support— you can advise, nurture, and close relationships
  • Ability to communicate with high-net-worth clients confidently and clearly
  • Strong organizational skills — you keep clients and the team one step ahead
  • Highly responsive, proactive, and energized by supporting ambitious clients
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfort operating in a startup or high-growth, digital-native environment

Necessary Certifications

  • CFP designation required
  • FINRA Series 65 (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or economics preferred

Bonus

  • Crypto-native, fintech experience is a plus
  • Experience working with tools like eMoney, Wealthbox, Airtable, and/or Asana
  • Exposure to alternative investments (real assets, secondaries, digital assets, etc.)

  • Willing to work on-site in Wayne, New Jersey with the core investment team (potential opportunity for a hybrid schedule)
