Job Description:

We are looking for someone for the role of Principal with the right skill set and necessary drive to help build one of the leading funds and investment firms in the industry.

By working in tandem with the fund’s partners, the Principal is able to leverage Lightshift’s, and their own, network to source the best opportunities, analyse them in depth and execute investments accordingly.

The ideal candidate has a strong financial, analytical and research background, and is relentlessly curious about tokenomics, cryptocurrencies, and new business models to incentivize project ecosystems and their communities

You must be extremely passionate for decentralized projects, have high energy and willingness to learn, be comfortable in getting your ideas challenged, and capable of sharing and articulating them in a clear way.

Main responsibility: Help execute the fund’s investment strategy.

Other responsibilities

• Source projects and market opportunities;
• Work with the engineering teams to contribute to portfolio companies;
• Constantly optimize decision making processes and principles within the * firm in order to build one of the leading firms in the industry.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in crypto with portfolio track record
• Clearly structuring and presenting ideas both verbally and in written forms (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in finance with capacity to build and test financial models
• Background in research or investment banking or private equity or VC
• Established network in the crypto world
