Part-Time Research Associate

Lattice is hiring a Part-Time Research Associate to help us provide unparalleled support for our portfolio companies and produce high-quality written content to build our brand. This is an opportunity to work with some of the best early-stage teams in the industry and master your research, writing, and community-building skills. We are looking for someone who is willing to roll up his sleeves to grow in the role and help grow the fund.

About Lattice

Lattice is an early-stage crypto fund that helps founders build defensible moats, led by Regan Bozman and Mike Zajko. We recently raised a $20M first fund to help founders build new growth playbooks. We have invested in 30+ projects across several verticals such as NFTs, DeFi, Infrastructure, DAOs, and more. Investments include Eternal, Project Galaxy, Maple, Moment Ranks, reNFT, etc.

The Role

As a Research Associate at Lattice, you’ll work closely with our team to complete several tasks. You’ll support GPs in a wide range of projects critical to our investments and operations:

• Supporting operations with Dove Metrics, the leading crypto fundraising database, and Dove Dispatch, a widely-distributed funding-focused newsletter.
• Producing deep-dive research that contributes to thought leadership content.
• Writing case studies to showcase our portfolio companies’ performance.
• Drafting governance proposals for portfolio companies.
• Working on special projects as determined by the team.
• Remote, ideally 20-40 hours/month but we can be flexible.

• You hustle and get stuff done - you’ll have (often ambiguous) responsibilities. We run a low ego fund, and you shouldn’t be opposed to getting your hands dirty.
• You love research - you get excited about writing research-driven blog posts.
• Community - you get excited about building communities and helping users.
• Crypto Twitter native / DeFi degen / NFT collector - ideal candidate is someone who is very cypto-native.
