Product Manager

Drops DAO provides a lending platform for metaverse NFTs being at the intersection of NFTs and DeFi.

The protocol uses lending pools that enable any type of NFT asset to be used as collateral – from collectibles and metaverse items, to financial NFTs.

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our team. You are passionate about NFT technology, DeFi, and believe in the imminent tokenization of the world.

You will work with our Engineering Team, Stakeholders, and Product Designers on the ideation, technical development and deliver simple, consistent, and delightful product experiences for our users.

What you’ll get to do:

• Manage the product roadmap and backlog to define requirements for new features.
• Take an active role in seeking and supporting user and developer feedback as a regular part of product development activities.
• Understand user needs - gather feedback directly from users to define product needs.
• Develop scope and define backlog items that guide priorities for the development team.
• Solve product related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
• Draft key objectives and results, strategies and apply the data for the product to make business decisions.
• Possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end customer experience integration and dependencies.
• Assess value, develop cases, and prioritize stories, epics and themes to ensure work focuses on those with a maximum value that are aligned with product strategy.
• Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories for implementation.
• Develop appropriately detailed specifications for the product features so they are clearly understood by the development teams.
• Represent team in front of stakeholders, clients or users.

What you’ll bring with you:

• A deep understanding of blockchain, and specifically Ethereum and DeFi, is a must. Even if you have never been working in crypto, we expect that you have used DeFi protocols on your own.
• 3+ years of software product management, ideally you have shipped a client-facing product, ie. SaaS with a complex underlying logic
• Ability to understand the data about how our customers engage with our product. Experience using Amplitude, Mixpanel, or any other product-centric analytics.
• An understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape as they pertain to their product.
