Digital Asset Yield Analyst

At Stablecorp, that’s our vision. We believe that there are extremely important evolutions to the financial landscape focused in the digital asset stablecoin and yield space. We’re building bank-grade solutions to allow financial institutions at the bleeding edge to deliver these value propositions at scale. We’ve started by evolving the concept of a fiat-backed stablecoin by creating VCAD, the first in the global stablecoin space to represent an actual deposit at a Schedule I Bank (VersaBank). Now we’re evolving the diligence and technology standards around how yield gets generated in the digital asset space.

Here’s where you come in.

Your role:

You will work closely with a small passionate team with significant expertise that believes blockchain is the future of the financial system, building top financial technology products in the digital asset yield space.

As a Digital Asset Yield Analyst, you’ll:

• Identify, source, evaluate and document new investment opportunities across the Centralized Finance (“CeFi”) and Decentralized Finance (“DeFi”) Digital Asset Yield ecosystem
• Identify opportunities in and perform market analysis for nascent financial products utilizing digital assets (i.e., uncollateralized and collateralized lending, arbitrage, yield farming, liquidity mining, rolling basis trades, and FX hedging)
• Assist in creating and evolving credit standards and analytics for CeFi and DeFi platforms using traditional and novel techniques
• Assist in development of multiple yield-bearing digital asset strategies leveraging yield-generation from CeFi and DeFi platforms
• Assist in delivery and execution of these strategies and recommendations through a SaaS model to external customers

About you

You’ll need:

• Very strong knowledge of credit analysis and risk procedures
• Deep demonstrated experience (personal or professional) in using, analyzing and optimizing DeFi yield strategies
• Strong ability in investment management to anticipate and move into new opportunities quickly while tracking key metrics in areas lacking historic data (i.e. new DeFi applications)
• Deep knowledge of derivative instruments, processing of derivative transactions, valuation and trading strategies
• Finance and accounting principles and procedures
• Educational background in finance/economics/business or equivalent
• Strong additional skillset in Mathematics, Computer Science or equivalent
• 1-2 years experience developing financial modelling and analysis
• Highly proficient in Excel, Google Sheets and Tableau to present modelling
• A keen interest in blockchain, finance and digital assets
• Ability to take initiative and sense of extreme ownership of the work performed
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize/execute multiple concurrent tasks
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail

Additional highly desirable skills are:

• Algorithmic trading strategies experience and technical ability is an additional benefit, particularly in the digital asset space
