Across infrastructure, DeFi, gaming and consumer we’ve invested and supported a range of products and solutions that are moving the space forward. We are growing the team and adding a liquid portfolio manager to our existing venture team.

Role Overview

As a Liquid Portfolio Manager at Bodhi Ventures, you will be responsible for developing and executing investment strategies based on well-researched investment theses. Ideally structuring positions for 6-18 month time horizons. Alongside the liquid venture strategy, the role will also be responsible for managing and optimising our existing liquid portfolio. This role requires a deep understanding of the cryptocurrency market, strong analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate investment strategies to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain thesis driven trading models to identify market opportunities and use various tools to verify hypotheses
• Contribute to all aspects of trading activities including trade postings, position reconciliation, risk management tasks, identifying opportunities, research, and post-trade analysis
• Generate and pursue yield generating ideas across various DeFi protocols
• Work with protocol teams to better understand the dynamics of a particular project and catalysts which may help investment analysis
• Collaborate with the ventures team to refine investment theses and strategy
• Work with the Head of Engineering to develop trading automation tools, trading infrastructure and portfolio management systems
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal risk management protocols

Required skills:

• Disciplined self-starter and collaborative team player with strong communication skills
• Deep understanding of crypto protocols, projects and the wider ecosystem
• Strong quantitative and financial modelling skills
• Proven, demonstrable experience in cryptocurrency trading (or traditional financial markets trading with strong exposure to crypto)
• Understanding of macroeconomic trends and global market dynamics. This includes the ability to analyse economic indicators, policy changes, and geopolitical events to predict their impacts on both traditional and digital asset markets
• Understanding of Python would be advantageous
