Risk Manager - Liquid Token Fund

We are seeking an experienced individual with a strong background in Trading & Financial Markets Risk, particularly within the Digital Asset space. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the intersection of finance and technology, and excited by the opportunity to drive innovation in a fast-paced environment. They should be motivated to learn and lead in the dynamic landscape of liquid token funds.

Qualifications:

• Develop, enhance, and monitor risk controls tailored to the specific needs of our liquid token fund, covering market, operational, counterparty, and liquidity risks.
• Identify, model, and investigate potential risk incidents or events, and implement processes to mitigate them effectively.
• Continuously assess and optimize hedging positions, diversification strategies, and exposure risks to ensure the fund’s stability and performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strike a balance between growth objectives and risk management priorities.
• Provide guidance and support to the organization in identifying and assessing risks within their respective areas of specialization.
• Implement risk management policies and develop analytics to align company metrics with risk appetite statements.

Responsibilities:

• Minimum of 6-7 years of experience in risk management within trading, hedging, or asset management, preferably in financial markets.
• At least 3 years of experience specifically in the Digital Assets/Crypto industry, with a deep understanding of its unique risks and challenges.
• Hands-on experience with centralized digital asset exchanges, including collateralization of positions and understanding of risk engines.
• Familiarity with Off Exchange Settlement/Custodian providers and their role in supporting digital asset trading.
• Proficiency in crypto transactions and blockchain analysis, with experience in trade execution, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to gather, analyze, and present complex data in a clear and concise manner.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required for effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.
