New Partnerships Risk Manager

As a Risk Manager on Wyre’s Risk Team, you will be responsible for working with business partners and risk colleagues to identify and manage existing and potential risks to the Fiat-Crypto payment ecosystem. Risk Managers at Wyre are the first line of defense to ensure our Company remains well-managed and profitable. The right candidate will be a highly motivated professional with excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. The successful candidate will have foundational knowledge on financial risk management practices, applicable laws and regulations in the industry. This role has a high level of exposure across lines of business and the opportunity to work with Executives to create and implement innovative solutions to appropriately mitigate risks within the Fiat-crypto payment business.

Requirements

• Establish, evaluate and enhance Risk Assessment processes and Governance for new and existing partners in different industries
• Understand the broader context and implications (e.g., financial, legal, reputational, etc.) of the various types of risk affecting the Fiat-Crypto payment ecosystem
• Monitor partner performance and communicate key reporting insights and guidance internally and externally for new partnerships and BAU operations
• Drive collaboration between Risk, Compliance and other business support functions (e.g., Legal, Privacy)
• Identify and analyze risk issues/events, and drive required remediation for risk stakeholders
