Overview

Unmapped Digital Mining is a crypto venture focusing on mining digital assets (primarily Bitcoin) using renewable energy sources. The business has successfully closed its seed fundraise round of $5m - the raise was oversubscribed and is anchored by 2 VCs: Concentric & Global Founders Capital.

The founding team, led by serial entrepreneur Adarsh Radia, has extensive experience in launching and operating businesses with successful exits under their belts. Our advisory team has deep experience in blockchain technology, venture capital and renewable energy.

The business has its first mining rigs coming live in June and is already planning the next milestones of growth and capital raising. There are ambitions to build on the base of mining digital assets to explore adjacent opportunities in equipment finance, renewable energy origination and brokerage, high performance computer hosting and the further democratisation of mining digital assets.

The role

• You will work alongside the Founder of the business and assist him directly, as well as Chief Financial Officer and Associate
• There will be a diversity of tasks across operations, finance and strategy, with the opportunity to specialise in an opportunistic area of interest
• You will work on multiple projects and workstreams at the same time
• You will run analysis on new and existing projects and create and maintain financial models
• You will be a key support to the team during Series A fundraise process
• You will have the opportunity to grow into a senior role within the business and help to grow the team
• You will be part of a small team with great opportunity to shape the business in its early stages, which requires resourcefulness and ability to work on your own

Requirements

• At least 4-5 years experience in investment banking, structured-finance, private equity, consulting to financial institutions, or a startup role in fintech/crypto business
• You are very experienced with excel and can develop complex financial models
• You have had experience creating presentation decks and pitching
• You are good with people and can confidently discuss ideas and views
• You are a self-starter and have high levels of motivation
• Proactive and resourceful when it comes to problem solving and idea generation
• You are pedantic and take pride in the quality of outcomes
• You think blockchain technology has the potential to change the world
• You would describe yourself as a conscious human
• You are curious and keen to continue to learn and grow
