Community Manager

Unifi Protocol is seeking a Community Manager to assist with interacting with our growing community. We are a very passionate start-up and have been operating in the blockchain space for the past 3 years. We currently operate DeFi exchanges, staking nodes, and DAO governance on over 5 different blockchains. We also have various other applications/initiatives in our development pipeline.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, strong team player and communicator. The ideal candidate will also be passionate about social media, cryptocurrencies, community building, and emerging technologies. During the initial onboarding period, the candidate will be working closely with our CEO and our Marketing team to understand their role and our business.

A successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of building and managing communities on various social media platforms. A successful candidate will have hands-on experience with various social media platforms (Twitter, Reddit, Telegram, Discord, YouTube, etc.). The candidate will be able to turn creative ideas into effective and engaging campaigns. The expertise of this candidate should create a more positive community environment through their professionalism and demeanor.

Community Manager Responsibilities:

• Lead moderation efforts across platforms, our largest community being on Telegram.
• Develop moderation strategy and implement it across community moderators.
  • This includes creating/modifying community guidelines, expectations, and responsibilities.
• Works closely with the Marketing team, and the team’s Social Media Specialist role.
• Oversee promotional activities and engagement activities.
  • Suggests, presents and carry’s out various community activities
• In conjunction with the Marketing team, collaboratively and effectively communicates initiatives to our community.
  • Depending on the initiative, this role will need to coordinate with Marketing team members such as our Graphic Designer, Videographer, Marketing coordinator, etc.
• Build relationships with our community through strong presence within various social media channels, specifically Telegram.
  • This includes responding to comments and direct messages
• Working with the Marketing team, builds content calendars and maintain an engaging content schedule.
• Stay informed of marketing strategies and trends.

Requirements:

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A self-starting attitude will be key for success in this role.
• The ability to pivot is key, our industry changes quickly, which requires our operations and approaches to change quickly as well.
• The ability to multi-task, fast-paced atmosphere
• Experience and knowledge with blockchains and Decentralized Finance is a huge plus.
• At least two years of demonstrated experience in a social media community management role.
• Exceptional communication, and collaboration skills (this is crucial in our remote environment).
