Governance Lead

Are you looking to dive into the world of DAO’s and governance?

At StableNode, our passion and interest in governance have been a key part of our business. We want to expand our team to help grow the blockchain networks and projects we are working with specifically on governance. We’re looking to add a Governance Lead — someone who will work alongside our partners through the full lifecycle of the governance process. You’ll be closely involved in research, analysis, and product development. This is a full-time position that is remote with no geographical restrictions.

Governance is the key workings around decentralization of the decision making in protocols and projects. Currently, we are working with major players in the blockchain and crypto landscape, such as MakerDAO, InstadApp, Polygon and Klaytn to shape their governance structures as well as participating in active governance. With an ever increasing demand for our expertise in governance we are looking for a passionate person that would like to support us in our mission and cares about the success of the projects they’re working with and the web3 space as a whole. We are looking for someone who is an independent but collaborative worker that can adapt quickly to changing priorities in a 24/7 industry, wear multiple hats, and proactively assist with solutions. Be prepared to travel occasionally for events and cool company offsites in a true crypto spirit.

While we are a Start-up that has been operating for a year, we are on a fast-growing mission with already six nodes operating while our growing investment portfolio includes >30 companies and 10 Advisory deals. You are joining a team of DeFi pioneers in the early stages of our amazing journey. We closed our seed funding of $3M USD last year.

Responsibilities:

• Create and structure frameworks for partners looking to transform into a DAO.
• Seek out new possibilities for external governance ventures.
• Take part in venture conversations with potential investments to showcase how we can work with them.
• Work with the governance delegate team by contributing to conversations in governance forums and attending community calls to stay informed about relevant project updates.
• Support in thought leadership content regarding governance for the StableNode blog.
• Representing our external communication in different governance communities via governance calls, forums, discord and telegram.
• Work with us on our upcoming governance related web3 applications
• Engage with our already established team on driving governance forward in the crypto space.

Qualifications:

• You have sharp analytical skills and are able to translate research findings into governance models and frameworks.
• You have the understanding and capability to conduct product specific market research using qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Due to the nature of the job, a strong academic background is a plus.
• You have a structural perspective and an eye for detail with an emphasis on documentation and note-taking
• You are flexible around work hours and can handle the freedom that remote work gives you.
• Basic understanding of DeFi, Crypto and NFT’s. We’ll teach you everything else.
• Ability to work as a self starter in a fast paced environment.
• Experience in product development is a plus.
• Strong English written skills.
