Head of Operations

Set is building crypto asset management tools and products to democratize wealth creation tools. We believe that decentralized technologies will be a driving force in creating a new global financial system that is more equitable, inclusive, and efficient.

As the first dedicated senior operations hires, your mission is to lead the administrative and operational function at Set. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in setting up administrative systems for controls and reporting (e.g. finance, legal, reporting, HR), generating efficient operations (e.g. improving meeting culture, enforcing a culture of transparency and feedback), contributing to company growth (via BD, partnerships, growth operations), and helping the shape the culture of the company.

Responsibilities

• Devising legal, finance, reporting, operational controls and accounting strategies and interfacing with service providers (e.g. lawyers, accountants, etc.)
• Strategizing and executing on growth initiatives whether building partnerships, setting planning marketing programs, or managing the community
• Designing and creating processes for keeping the trains running in areas including HR, finance, legal, IT, etc.
• Establishing processes that promote company efficiency, support company culture and values.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience working in a fast past environment whether a startup, tech company, investment banking, or consulting
• You are intellectually curious, resourceful, and relentlessly execute
• You are driven, smart, and hungry for experience in a growing startup
• You have high attention to detail, excellent time management, and organizational skills
• You have outstanding communication and written skills
• You are fascinated by blockchain technology and DeFi
• Bonus points if you have a technical background
