Community Engagement Lead @Prime Rating

PrimeDAO is looking for a community & engagement lead to join the Prime Rating & Research squad (PRR). This person will be closely working with the Prime steward leading the PRR squad. The main targets for this role are to grow the community of raters, to raise awareness of the Prime rater role within the web3 ecosystem, to increase contributor engagement and to increase retention rate.

About PrimeRating

The Prime Rating Squad is a cross-functional team building and maintaining the Prime Rating dApp: A permissionless rating framework to quantify the quality and risk of open finance protocols. At the core of Prime Rating are the raters. These are community analysts writing rating reports, which constitutes the backbone of the rating service.

The PRR squad’s responsibility is to grow and maintain the community and the product.

About the role:

• Lead and manage awareness campaigns to attract new raters to Prime Rating
• Welcome and onboard new community members to the DAO. Drive initiatives to improve activation of community (from lurker to contributor)
• Monitor, moderate and manage community sentiment in PrimeDAO Discord (and other channels), with a specific focus on Prime raters
• Manage and grow community contributions by designing engagement mechanisms (experiments are welcome)
• Organize and facilitate online community events such community calls, Discord hangouts, Twitter spaces, etc.
• Identify, build and cultivate key relationships with members of our community and source actionable insights back to the relevant PrimeDAO teams
• Support our roadmap to decentralization, by establishing structures and processes which allow for community autonomy
• Measure and report on the success of community growth, support, and engagement initiatives with qualitative and quantitative insights

Note: We don’t expect you to achieve all of the above points in the first month. This will be an incremental process, whereby you are encouraged to take ownership of the “community & engagement workstream” within Prime Rating. You are also encouraged to grow your own team.

Requirements

• A decent understanding of the web3 space
• Prior experience in creating social engagement and/or relationship management
• Communication is your thing, you are comfortable operating social media channels such as Discord and Twitter
• You know what it takes to do awesome engagement marketing
• You have past experience and/or a good understanding of community management
• You have a genuine interest in blockchain and web3 technologies, or prior experience in decentralized governance solutions, LegalTech, or FinTech
• Internally motivated and self-starter. You are someone that owns the area or process you are responsible for
• Willingness to constantly learn, research, and experiment

Nice to have:

• A deep understanding of blockchain and the web3 ecosystem, specifically within Ethereum and DeFi
• You already have a great network within the web3 space
• Willingness and ability to go through the Prime Rating process to become a rater yourself
