About us
Maker Talent is one of the Core Units incubated by the SES (Sustainable Ecosystem Scaling) of Maker. Maker Talent was created in September 2021. We aim to recruit contributors for the protocol, promote Maker as a great place to work and build a strong connection with the Blockchain Community. As a CU, we need will be voted, this will happen in December 2021.
Why a Candidate Experience Manager?
We believe that the only one way of creating a positive impact on the community is guaranteeing an outstanding candidate journey, from the first interaction with us, until they become a real member of the Maker Community. That’s why we decided to assign one person, to make sure that every candidate’s journey is efficient, fun and lean. This person will be a recruiter for a minimum of six months, and then he/she will coordinate a team of recruiters.
The Candidate Experience Manager will:
- Overview all the recruitment processes to make sure that we are providing an amazing experience for candidates and hiring managers.
- Create, develop and execute initiatives to connect Maker with the Blockchain community and promote the DAO as an amazing place to work.
- Plan and assist to Blockchain events in order to meet potential candidates.
- Define a Social Media Strategy and help creating a community in Twitter, Linkedin, Github, etc.
- Manage and execute projects in the HR field.
- Coordinate Recruitment providers.
- Supervise two junior recruiters and assist the CU doing recruitment when needed.
During the first 3 months you will:
- Recruit Contributors.
- Create a social media strategy and activate new channels to connect with devs.
- Learn about all the recruitment processes in the DAO.
- Deep dive into the GDPR processes to guarantee compliance.
- Assess, analyse and propose ideas to boost our candidate’s experience.
- Create a calendar of events to attend in 2022.
- Gather and plan recruitment needs from other Core Units.
- Activate systems to measure success.
In 6 months you will:
- Supervise existing recruitment processes and contribute to its success.
- Think, create and activate action plans to improve the candidate’s journey.
- Go to Blockchain events.
- Interact with an existing community of potential contributors and make it bigger.
- Present webinar and workshops for Core Unit members to improve their skills.
In one year you will:
- Make the community grow even more and maintain an amazing interaction with them.
- Strategically select events to promote Maker.
- Decide which events we will sponsor and participate in.
- Create events in Maker to meet new candidates and students.
Job requirements
About you:
- You have been recruiting devs for at least 3 years, you know how they think and the best ways to connect with them.
- You are skilled in English and can work full time in this language.
- You are obsessed with providing an every-day-better candidate experience.
- You are happy to work remotely and assist to 1 recruitment event every one or two months in Europe.
- You are familiar on the ways Blockchain can change our lives and curious to learn more about it every day.
- You are self-motivated and known for your initiatives.
- You are open, talkative and you can talk in public.
- You have experience in creating synergies with universities, meet-ups, business schools, etc
