About Jet Protocol
Jet is an open source, non-custodial liquidity protocol pushing the envelope on decentralized finance and debt capital markets efficiency. We offer first class, market based lending products built for the emerging DeFi high flyers. We are a remote but close-knit flight crew consisting of veteran pilots with tens of thousands of long-haul flying hours at blue-chip DeFi, TradFi, and Big Tech firms.
People & Talent at Jet Protocol
We are looking for a People generalist who is excited about the future of De-Fi and Web3.0 technology to join our team. Reporting to the COO you will support our individual company culture, people processes, and exceptional employees as we scale.
As our first People & Talent hire, you will support all functions of human resources & recruitment and provide support to our employees as we scale. You will help us implement best-in-class people processes as we scale and grow.
We’re looking for a highly motivated and talented generalist People professional to join our team; someone who wants to enjoy the benefits of working with a scaling tech company, be the pioneering member of the people & culture team, and who has the desire & drive to champion our culture.
People
- Act as a trusted business partner for all things ‘people’ related
- Provide HR support on all aspects of the People function; recruiting, onboarding, performance & compensation, professional development, compliance
- HRIS Management and accurate data entry
- Be an advocate for employees and make Jet a leading place to work
- Help Jet improve and scale its benefits program, coordinating with 3rd party benefits providers
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local programs and regulations (Workers Compensation, Unemployment Insurance, State Family and Medical Leave Act, Federal Medical Leave Act, COBRA, wage regulations, equal employment opportunity laws, etc.)
- Own and continuously improve our onboarding and offboarding processes
Talent
- Write effective job descriptions, define the hiring process and communicate with candidates
- Proactively source sales candidates through a variety of methods, building a consistent pipeline of talent for fluid hiring
- Manage an efficient, full-cycle recruitment process to meet hiring needs for multiple roles (phone screens, on-site interviews, negotiation and closing offers, etc.)
- Curate an exceptional candidate experience at each point of contact (initial outreach, phone screen, on-site, etc.)
Operational
- Operations / IT
- Hardware distribution and tracking
- G-Suite management
- Ordering and distributing merchandise & swag
- Support of ad-hoc requests from Leadership team
You will have
- Demonstrated HR/People operations experience (3+ years)
- Experience in a startup environment
- Proven track record of establishing strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers
- Ability to build trust, remain accessible, and handle sensitive situations and data
- Tech savvy with experience in implementing and maintaining a HRIS
- Excellent attention to detail and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Deep interest in the Blockchain space.

- Are well versed with best practices in US labor and employment law
- Have impeccable relationship building skills and are experienced working with high-touch individuals
- Successfully supported a scaling business (ideally in tech)
- Comfortable working with data to provide insight and recommendations
