About the position:

Innovation Upstream is seeking a talented and motivated Developer Coordinator who is experienced in technical project management and coordination. The right candidate has 3+ years managing software developer teams, and 1+ years working in web3.

What you will be doing:

• Owning day to day project team operations
• Translating high level feature requirements into specific issues
• Planning sprints and assigning issues
• Coordinating mentorships
• Ensuring every member of the dev team is engaged with and sufficiently challenged by their day to day work
• Owning execution of project and team level OKRs
• Facilitating the planning and execution of OKRs by members of your teams
• Working with devs to point issues and estimate timelines
• Enabling and encouraging growth, success, and collaboration among members of your teams
• Facilitating effective developer onboarding and training
• Identifying gaps and inefficiencies within all processes of the dev teams and the organization at large
• Enabling and encouraging innovation hours/20% time

We’re looking for someone who has:

• Strong engineering fundamentals
• Passion for helping others learn and grow
• The ability to grow and fill gaps when needed in a rapidly evolving organization
• Strong understanding of software development cycles
• 3+ years managing software developer teams
• 1+ years working in web3.
• Experience working with dapps or smart contracts on Ethereum, BSC, or comparable layer 2 solutions/sidechains.
• Strong understanding of web3 and decentralization

Nice to have:

• Passion about what decentralization technology can offer to humanity
• Insatiable curiosity of the industry; self-motivated to pursue researching every new idea that floats across the industry
• Ability to explain abstract technical concepts in an easy to understand manner
• Knowledge of L2 technologies

Must be located in a timezone within 3 hours of UTC-6 or willing to work a UTC-6 base schedule
