Who is Hume

Hume is a virtual artist metaverse entertainment company. Our mission is to create a universe of digital native music driven characters that fans fall in love with. We sit at the intersection of NFTs/Web3, metaverse development, and music/entertainment.

Hume was recently funded and will be formally launching over the next few months. Our investors and advisors include gmoneyNFT, Delphi Digital, Distributed Global, Santiago Santos and more.

We are a fully remote team HQ’d in Los Angeles with team members currently in Los Angeles & France.

This is a full-time, contracted position, with the potential for a permanent opportunity.

Who You Are

The Digital Producer/Project Manager will help oversee the development and successful execution of a variety of Hume’s virtual artist launches as well as day to day business operations with the CEO. Launches will include NFT drops, music releases on traditional platforms as well as social media communications across a variety of channels (TikTok, Twitter, IG).

Hume is excited to partner with someone who brings best-in-class project management techniques, loves music and building immersive worlds, and truly understands how fans engage in digital landscapes. The Digital Producer will lead efforts across a variety of projects and work directly with CEO and core creative team.

Your Role in The Humaverse

• Be a leader in your area by deeply understanding the needs of our artists and developing a strong creative vision and strategy around the development of our artists at Hume.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams, anticipating potential project risks, identifying solutions to solve them, and ensuring the teams’ workflow is developing as planned.
• Work with animators, songwriters, producers, and artists, to develop music and visual assets that redefines how a consumer connects with a music driven virtual artist.
• Be a key part of animation meetings and helping the animation team meet deadlines and stay organized. If you want to play a role in coming up with content ideas that’s a huge plus!
• Create intricate project plans that consider every detail and budget line item.
• Identify resource needs for projects, prioritize tasks, ensure the team meets deadlines, keep teams organized, and regularly communicate with the senior leadership team on the status of projects, escalating issues as needed.
• Define and own goals/success metrics, from A&R to marketing to execution of music releases and partnerships.
• Drive strategic decisions via evaluation of market and analysis of other artists (virtual and human).
• Work directly with the CEO to oversee company operations and assess new blockchain, metaverse and tech opportunities.

What You Did Before Entering The Humaverse

• You love social media and building online fan communities. You’re a fan first.
• You’re constantly up to date with the latest trends on TikTok, Twitter, and IG and more.
• Have prior knowledge of TikTok, including how to: film, edit, and use TikTok features.
• Knowledgeable of the trends and popular “sounds” being used throughout TikTok.

A Plus in The Humaverse

• Familiarity with NFTs plus and NFT launches
• Familiarity with Web3 a plus
• Familiarity with metaverse environments like Decentraland, The Sandbox, Somnium Space
• A passion for music is a plus
• You’re a storyteller
