Global Income Coin is looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition to help realize our vision of giving every living human on earth a dollar per day of basic income. In this role you will help the organization hire top talent to build out the organization. You will be responsible for supporting your team in achieving recruiting goals, establishing and iterating on processes that create efficiencies, and ensuring we hire top talent. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the talent acquisition landscape with experience growing a new organization. As Global Income Coin is in its infancy you will have the opportunity to be a vital contributor to fulfilling our mission to distribute money to everyone to help reduce extreme poverty.
You will join a fully remote team (members currently based out of San Francisco and Amsterdam) working towards launching Global Income Coin in early 2022.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in recruiting/talent acquisition, with 3+ years as a Talent Acquisition Manager or similar leadership position.
- You are passionate about Global Income Coin’s mission and have experience building programs that attract and retain diverse talent.
- You are a connector of people and think creatively about ways to engage candidates.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written); you can collaborate well with cross-functional leaders to achieve optimal results.
- You have In-depth knowledge of the full-cycle recruiting process.
- You are well-versed in recruiting technologies and systems like Greenhouse that will support the recruiting function and help us scale over time.
- You are results driven and detail oriented with proven ability to drive strategic talent initiatives from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Drive the full spectrum of recruiting and selection activities.
- Identify needs, implement, and execute a talent acquisition strategy that will successfully recruit candidates needed to move the business forward.
- Design and implement the adoption of consistent recruiting, interviewing and hiring practices that support a strong candidate experience.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment for senior roles.
- Actively conduct the selection process including sourcing and interviewing.
- Identify and partner with external providers as required to ensure hiring needs are met.
- Work with company leadership to develop sustainable quarterly and annual hiring plans and then work to ensure we hit critical hiring goals while maintaining high standards.

As adoption grows, we can slowly create additional money and give this away for free, to people directly.
