Finance Manager

We need a financial leader who can strengthen our operations as we expand across the Web3 space. You’ll own our financial reporting, build scalable processes, and deliver the insights that drive our strategic decisions. This role goes beyond number-crunching—you’ll be creating the financial infrastructure that powers our growth and helps us navigate the unique challenges of the Web3 economy.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and statutory reports in compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Own and oversee the monthly close process to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Produce financial reports and analysis for internal stakeholders.

Financial Analysis & Data Support

• Provide financial data and basic analysis to support business decision-making.
• Assist with ad-hoc data requests, budgeting inputs, and performance tracking.

Management & Oversight

• Manage external stakeholders; ensure accuracy, accountability and delivery to internally set deadlines.
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, reports and general bookkeeping prepared by our external accounting team.

Cash Flow & Financial Operations

• Monitor daily cash flow and working capital to ensure liquidity.
• Oversee payables, receivables, and treasury operations as needed.

Controls, Compliance & Audits

• Ensure adherence to internal financial processes, controls, and policies.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Maintain compliance with tax and regulatory obligations.

Systems & Process Management

• Manage day-to-day operations of the ERP/accounting system (experience in Xero preferably), ensuring data integrity and functionality.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies.

Requirements:

• Must be able to work UK business hours (non-negotiable)
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• Professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
• 5+ years of experience in financial management, including team leadership
• Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and tax regulations
