Job Description

Role Objectives

• Maintain constant communication with management, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the organization
• Grow the efficiency of existing organizational processes and procedures to enhance and sustain the organization’s internal capacity
  • Work closely with the management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation
  • Plan and review compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures
• Actively pursue strategic and operational objectives
• Ensure operational activities remain on time and within a defined budget
• Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; resolve problems; identify trends

Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support the operations team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including setup and implementation of career development plans for all direct reports and problem resolution
• Work closely with legal to make sure activities remain compliant
• Analyze process workflow, employee and space requirements, and equipment layout; implement changes
• Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management
  • Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions
• Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment
• Manage timely data collection to update operations metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per hour, and eliminate errors
• Oversee materials and inventory management
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
• Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed
• Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues
• Manage relationships with key operations vendors

Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations management, business administration, or related field
• 3+ years’ proven experience in an operations management position
• Strong budget development and oversight skills
• Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations
• Highly skilled in conflict management and business negotiation processes
• Knowledge of general business softwares and aptitude to learn new applications
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding organizational skills
