Accounts Payable Analyst

Chainlink Labs is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Analyst to join our growing finance team. This specialist will take ownership in facilitating and improving the current payments process surrounding expenses and vendor bills.

This role will require a high level of adaptability, attention to detail, and willingness to grow your knowledge within the blockchain industry. You will take ownership of Accounts Payable processes to support your team members whilst working within a fast-paced startup environment.

Your Impact

• Process timely vendor invoice payments from approval to prompt payments in multiple currencies; including both fiat and cryptocurrency payments.
• Manage vendors to provide team members with data to carry out a thorough analysis.
• Serve as the point of contact for any AP inquiries; both internal and external.
• Process 1099 & W9 forms.
• Process regular expense reports.
• Monitor aging creditors ledger.
• Ensure all vendors adhere to AML checks.
• Maintain financial records for all invoices received.
• Collaborate with team members to continually automate and improve process efficiencies. This includes implementing effective and scalable internal controls for AP processes.
• Process ad hoc payments according to the needs of the team and the wider business when requested.

Requirements

• Genuine interest in the blockchain industry and understanding of the ecosystem.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• 2+ years of accounts payable/accounting experience
• Previous experience in Quickbooks or other accounting packages is a plus.
• Able to work autonomously and take ownership with little supervision
• Proactive and focused on process improvement
• Experience in working with multinational currencies is a plus.
• AP experience with a US company of a similar size is a plus.

This role is location agnostic anywhere in the world, but we ask that you overlap some working hours with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
