Operations Manager / Liquid Token Fund

Role Description

The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of the fund’s operations, focusing on efficiency, compliance, and risk management. The individual will be responsible for overseeing daily fund operations, including trade settlements, liquidity management, and operational risk assessments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial operations, a deep understanding of token markets, and a passion for blockchain technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment instruments, and liquidity management.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. Experience in digital assets or token operations is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading operations, and the regulatory landscape related to digital assets.
• Proficient in using trading and operations software, with a keen interest in blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies.
• Exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
• Solid ability to articulate complex liquidity and investment concepts to diverse stakeholders.
• Deep industry know-how. Must be able to navigate Crypto, DeFi, and understand the risks.
• Previous work experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive liquidity analysis, and techniques to forecast and manage cash flows effectively.
• Oversee and manage daily operations of the token liquid fund, including trade execution, settlement, and reconciliation processes.
• Work closely with the compliance team to ensure all fund activities adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and controls to manage operational risk effectively.
• Collaborate with the technology team to leverage and enhance trading and operations platforms, ensuring robustness and scalability.
• Manage relationships with key external partners, including custodians, brokers, and technology providers.
• Monitor liquidity levels and manage cash and collateral efficiently to support fund operations.
• Produce and review operational reports and performance analytics for senior management and external stakeholders. Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements in the token and cryptocurrency markets.
• Execute trades and adjust strategies in real-time, adhering to fund policies while responding to market conditions and stress scenarios.
