Creators use our custom-designed emojis to compose beautiful works of art with profound, human messages.

About You:

• Able to communicate effectively to a diverse group of constituents.
• Have excellent social and networking skills, with the ability to influence, persuade and negotiate.
• Scrappy, self-reliant, and have a knack for understanding what motivates and grows communities.
• Have a high degree of end-user empathy and envision and understand how they will interact with a blockchain product or service and what will and won’t appeal to them.
• Curiosity, open-mindedness, and a consistently positive attitude.
• “People-person” who thrives on connecting, empowering, and supporting individuals in a community.
• Passionate about Discord and community building and are up-to-date with the best tools and industry practices on Discord.
• A self-starter who likes to come up with new ideas and see them through to their implementation, taking ownership of the whole process
• Intrigued by the prospect of working at a consumer startup that’s at the intersection of digital identity, emojis, privacy, the creator economy, and NFTs, and is led by a founding team with significant prior success and deep industry credibility

What You’ll Do:

• Develop a strong understanding of Yat’s vision, virtues, and desirability and communicate that to existing and new Yat creators.
• Be an ambassador, educator, and evangelist of Yat.
• Stay current on Discord community growth trends to develop the vision and steer the growth of the Yat Discord Community.
• Create and own a set of KPIs and dashboards for tracking performance and community growth.
• Source and manage internal and external content producers (writers, PR, videographers, etc.) as needed.
• Plan, manage and attend virtual events on Discord.
• Identify and execute creative campaigns to increase the visibility of the Yat * Discord Server in order to promote it on other Yat social platforms.

Requirements:

• 2+ years experience in a Discord Community Manager role for a Server of 75k+ members
• Ability to use the best tools and practices (including GIFs, infographics, video content, etc.) to create viral content.
• Run weekly events on the Discord Server to increase engagement
• Provide weekly reports on Discord Server engagement trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Lead weekly strategy meetings with Key Stakeholders
• Manage a team of Discord Server moderators and community managers.
• Work directly with the Yat Support team to ensure all support inquiries are handled in a timely manner.
• You must have excellent listening, verbal, and written skills
• Experience creating content that drives engagement.
• Comfortable learning new technologies quickly, frequently testing and iterating on your ideas, and scaling things that work to maximize results.
• Experience in encouraging communities to ask questions, voice concerns, create community traditions, and generate ideas.
• Have the proven ability to take the initiative and build strong, productive relationships.
• Exceptional analytical reasoning, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills.

Bonus Points:

• Key contributor or was solely responsible for the rapid growth of one or more Discord Servers.
• Experience with buying advertisements to increase Discord Server membership growth.
• Design, photography, and video production skills.
• Experience with high-touch, white-glove, high-quality customer service. Interpersonal savvy.
• Has a good understanding of Decentralized Finance or cryptocurrencies and how it works from a high level
