Role Description

The Giving Block is looking for someone (remote) to take the lead on managing and engaging with our community. We’ve had over 10,000 donors support charities working with The Giving Block and we want to make sure we keep them engaged and attract new donors. You will become the first point of contact on social media and across our different platforms like Telegram and Discord. You’ll be responsible for the day to day management of the platforms/channels and be on the front line answering questions and keeping our community informed and engaged.

You’ll be working closely with our Marketing and Operations team to coordinate updates like press releases, blog posts, our content calendar and scheduling social media posts.

Required Skills / Experience:

• 3+ years of social media marketing or community management experience
• Experience managing Telegram and/or Discord community
• Experience managing a social media calendar (Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
• Excellent written English communication skills
• Passion for cryptocurrency and an advanced understanding of the cryptocurrency community and landscape
• Self-motivated and enjoys working in a startup environment
• Preferred: Can work US East Coast business hours
• Optional: Content writing experience is a plus but not required
• Optional: Experience with HubSpot Marketing
