Head of Marketing

Tempus is a DeFi protocol built for AMM-powered interest rate swaps. We have raised more than $30 million in funding, and are supported by Lemniscap, Jump Capital, Distributed Global, GSR, Wintermute, Tomahawk.VC and others.

Using Tempus, users can obtain capital-efficient fixed yields backed by variable staking or lending yields. For example, Tempus will be the first protocol to release fixed-rate ETH 2.0 staking via Lido. Tempus will also integrate with Compound, Aave, Yearn, and Rari Capital.

This is a full-time, fully remote position. We have a preference for working on EU timezones.

About You

You are:

• An experienced marketing professional who will lead our marketing activities and manage the BD/marketing teams
• Hungry for impact, growth and motivated by constant learning
• Results-driven and capable of executing in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Craft strategies for the Marketing and Business Development teams
• Be in charge of a seven-figure marketing budget
• Manage our marketing and business development efforts, monitor these teams and their execution keenly
• Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share Work closely with the founders

What you’ll need

• At least 3 years of experience in marketing/growth role, including 1 year of relevant experience at a leading blockchain project
• Close familarity with crypto / DeFi marketing strategies
• The ability to work independently, come up with ideas and execute on them
• Experience managing a small team of marketing and business development professionals
• Great organizational skills
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and interpersonal skills
• Ability to operate and work effectively in a remote setting
