Head of Community

Here at Swash we are all about community, this runs through our veins and is right at the centre of why we started this journey. Swash is here to help redistribute the profit generated by user data back to the people, and we see them as our community.

For too long we have all given away our value as “consumers” and are now the product, we don’t feel this is right and that is where Swash comes in.

Now that we have raised $19.1m, and onboarded over 100,000 users, we are looking for a Head of Community to join our team and galvanise, engage and deploy our community on a global scale, and, to reach and empower as many people as possible to understand the value of their digital footprint.

Yes, we are a start up, but we have lofty goals and backing from some of the best investors and advisors in the industry including; Outlier Ventures, Ocean Protocol and others. We want to be synonymous with fair revenue sharing of data revenue, and you will be a key team member helping us get there.

We don’t have a list of “key skills” for this role, per se, but experience in growing and managing communities at a strategic level is essential. You should be an expert in this field and know Web3 and crypto like the back of your hand. Good communicator, organised, friendly and knowledgeable are probably our must haves.

Experience in growing and maintaining engagement in online communities across Discord, Telegram and Reddit (among others) will be highly beneficial - as well first hand hand experience dealing with KOLs and external marketing partners.

Responsibilities

• Design and run activities aimed at increasing community growth and engagement
• Launch and support ambassador program and train new active members
• Support and grow local communities to make Swash available in other languages
• Collect and organize community feedback and share with the team
• Scale the team
• Supervise community moderators
