The mobile gaming industry has long been dominated by centralized tech intermediaries who suck every penny out of game developers and players. We are building a community owned, decentralized blockchain platform for mobile games that will become the web3 App Store.

Blockchain gaming is a fast growing industry and the leading blockchain game Axie Infinity is currently valued at $35bn with only 2m users. There are 3bn mobile gamers alone and we believe we can onboard the next billion into crypto through our platform. Our team has previously built a blockchain game and wrote articles about play-to-earn. We’re a team of 4 developers, 5 community managers and a CEO.

Job Description

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who is obsessed with building and scaling communities. Someone who is not only excellent at launching marketing campaigns, but also deeply understands social media marketing. Since we’re a small team, you’ll wear many hats. You’ll work directly with the CEO and lead a large team of community managers. We’re less interested in the length of your resume than your passion and willingness to build and grow web3 communities. Ideally you have experience in one or more of the following; social media marketing, digital marketing, PR, influencer marketing, community management, copywriting.

Responsibilities

• Develop a social media marketing strategy
• Help us identify, acquire, retain, engage and manage users
• Scale, engage and manage our Discord/Telegram communities
• Launch, manage and host marketing campaigns (AMAs, polls, live streams, giveaways, Twitter Spaces, Podcasts)
• Build, grow and manage our social media presence (Twitter, TikTok, Reddit, YouTube)
• Ensure everything gets communicated the right way for social media, blog posts, announcements
• Develop and manage an influencer marketing strategy
• Track, test, and iterate on our growth efforts using analytic dashboards
• Patiently answer endless questions from community members and managers

Qualifications

• 5+ year marketing experience
• 2+ year social media marketing experience in crypto or gaming
• Fluent or native in English
• A talented communicator with excellent copywriting skills
• A creative mindset that can experiment with viral marketing/growth hacking strategies
• Experience working in fast paced environment
• (Optional) Existing Twitter/YouTube/Twitch influencer
• (Optional) Memelord
